Support Safe Operation
Check safety devices, controls, fixings and mechanical condition before faults escalate.
Protect your industrial doors and access equipment with planned servicing, live asset records, QR identification and a customer portal built around your sites.
Reliable access and security are essential to your operation. That is why EVICK recommends a maintenance plan structured around your installations, usage and business needs.
During a service inspection, an experienced engineer looks for abnormal wear, damage and developing faults. Left undetected, these issues can reduce equipment life, cause avoidable downtime or compromise safe operation.
We take a proactive approach to access restrictions, operational pressures and asset condition, helping customers plan maintenance sensibly while retaining nationwide access to responsive support.
Routine attention helps your team act before deterioration becomes failure.

Organise every managed location within one secure customer account.
Record the asset type, location, condition and relevant equipment details.
Identify equipment on site by scanning its unique EVICK asset sticker.
Engineers open the correct asset record at the equipment and update it during attendance.
Authorised users can view the latest maintenance sheet linked to each asset.
Keep visibility of faults, observations and remedial work identified during servicing.
See the reported condition and working status of equipment across the estate.
Keep a clearer record of previous attendance and planned maintenance activity.
Find equipment by site, asset reference, location, type or manufacturer.

A unique QR identification sticker is allocated to that asset.
The engineer scans the sticker to open the correct live asset record.

Powered doors and gates contain components that can wear, fail or fall out of adjustment. Planned maintenance helps duty holders keep equipment in an efficient state, efficient working order and good repair.
HSE guidance identifies Regulations 5 and 18 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 as particularly relevant to powered gates and doors in workplaces. It also highlights general duties under section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 where premises are managed as part of a business.
Inspection and maintenance intervals should be based on the manufacturer’s instructions, risk assessment, frequency of use, environment and condition—not a generic one-size-fits-all interval.
This is general information, not legal advice. See the official HSE powered gate and door guidance.
